FAQ – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT NOT TO DO BEFORE YOUR TATTOO?

• Skip alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
• Skip drugs and energy drinks.
• Don't go to a solarium for at least a week before your tattoo, and protect the area from sunburn.
• Don't do an intense workout the day before your appointment.
• Come rested and fed, not on an empty stomach.
• Don't use creams or oils on the tattoo area the day before.
• Don't shave the tattoo area yourself beforehand – I'll shave it at the studio if needed.
• Don't take aspirin or ibuprofen preventively because of the pain. If you take medication for health reasons, don't stop it without your doctor's recommendation.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR TATTOO APPOINTMENT?

• A snack, especially if we have a longer session ahead of us.
• Water or other non-alcoholic drinks.
• Dark, comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting ink on.
• Clothing that allows easy access to the area we'll be tattooing.

DO YOU TATTOO CLIENTS UNDER 18? Yes, with the consent of a legal guardian. Ideally, the guardian should come with you at least for the start of the appointment.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY TATTOO? I prefer cash payment. If that's not possible for you, you can also pay by card or via QR code.

WHEN WILL I GET THE TATTOO DESIGN? I send the design a few days before your appointment so we have room to fine-tune any changes.

CAN I MODIFY THE DESIGN? Yes. If you want to change something, message me and we'll fine-tune the design together.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME? Yes, ideally just one person though.

HOW LONG WILL THE TATTOO TAKE? It depends on the size, placement, and complexity of the design. I'll tell you the approximate duration when we arrange the tattoo.

DOES IT HURT TO GET A TATTOO? Pain is individual and depends a lot on the location of the tattoo. During a longer session we can of course take breaks as needed.

CAN I GET A TATTOO IF I'M SICK? If you're sick, have a fever, or don't feel well, message me before the appointment. It's best to come to your tattoo healthy and rested.

CAN I GET A TATTOO WHILE PREGNANT? No, I don't tattoo during pregnancy.

CAN I GET A TATTOO OVER A SCAR? It depends on the age and condition of the scar. Send me a photo of it when booking and I'll tell you whether it's possible to tattoo that area.

DO YOU DO COVER-UPS OF OLD TATTOOS? It depends on the specific tattoo. Send me an unfiltered photo of the original tattoo when booking and we'll discuss the options together.

CAN I BRING MY OWN INSPIRATION? Yes. References help me understand your idea. However, I create the final design individually and don't copy other tattoo artists' work.

IS TOUCH-UP INCLUDED IN THE TATTOO PRICE? No, touch-up is not included in the tattoo price. If the tattoo needs adjusting or filling in after healing, the touch-up price is 500–1,000 CZK depending on the extent of the adjustments needed.
