FAQ – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT SHOULD I AVOID BEFORE MY TATTOO APPOINTMENT?

• Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
• Avoid drugs and energy drinks.
• Avoid tanning beds for at least one week before your appointment and protect the area from sunburn.
• Avoid intense workouts the day before your appointment.
• Come well-rested and make sure you eat beforehand.
• Do not apply creams or oils to the tattoo area the day before.
• Do not shave the area yourself – I can shave it at the studio if needed.
• Do not take aspirin or ibuprofen preventively for tattoo pain. If you take any medication for medical reasons, do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY TATTOO APPOINTMENT?

• A snack, especially for longer sessions.
• Water or another non-alcoholic drink.
• Dark, comfortable clothing that you don’t mind potentially getting ink on.
• Clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.

DO YOU TATTOO CLIENTS UNDER 18? Yes, with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Ideally, your parent or legal guardian should come with you at least at the beginning of the appointment.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY TATTOO? I prefer cash payments. If that’s not possible for you, you can also pay by card or QR code.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TATTOO DESIGN? I’ll send you the design a few days before your appointment so we have enough time to make any final adjustments.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE DESIGN? Of course. If there’s anything you’d like to change, let me know and we’ll adjust the design together.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME? Yes. Ideally, please bring only one person with you.

HOW LONG WILL MY TATTOO TAKE? It depends on the size, placement and complexity of the design. I’ll give you an estimated duration when we discuss your tattoo.

DOES GETTING A TATTOO HURT? Pain is very individual and also depends on the placement. During longer sessions, we can take breaks whenever needed.

CAN I GET TATTOOED IF I’M SICK? If you’re sick, have a fever or don’t feel well, please message me before your appointment. It’s best to come to your tattoo appointment healthy and well-rested.

CAN I GET TATTOOED WHILE PREGNANT? No, I don’t tattoo during pregnancy.

CAN YOU TATTOO OVER A SCAR? It depends on the age and condition of the scar. Send me a photo when booking and I’ll let you know whether the area can be tattooed.

DO YOU DO COVER-UPS OF OLD TATTOOS? It depends on the existing tattoo. Send me a clear, unfiltered photo when booking and we’ll discuss the possibilities.

CAN I SEND YOU MY OWN INSPIRATION? Absolutely. References help me understand your vision, but I create each design individually and do not copy other tattoo artists’ work.

IS TOUCH-UP INCLUDED IN THE PRICE? No, touch-up is not included in the original tattoo price. If your tattoo needs any adjustments after healing, the touch-up costs 500–1,000 CZK, depending on the amount of work needed.
