Appointment text messages (SMS terms)

Taddoo is booking software for tattoo artists, operated by Taddoo AG, Badenerstrasse 541, 8048 Zurich, Switzerland. When you book an appointment with an artist through Taddoo, you can choose to also receive messages about that appointment by text message (SMS). Taddoo sends these texts on behalf of the artist.

How you opt in

On the artist's booking form, a checkbox appears below your phone number. It is not checked by default. SMS consent is optional and a separate choice: you can book without it, and it is not part of accepting any terms or privacy policy. You only receive texts if you check the box yourself. Without the check you receive everything by email only. This is what the checkbox looks like:

What texts you receive

• Confirmation of your appointment, a reminder before it, and a notice if it is rescheduled.
• After the session, a link to your aftercare instructions and a one-time review request, if the artist uses these.
• Messages the artist sends you about your appointment, for example how to prepare or questions about the design, with a link to the full text.
• No marketing. Message frequency varies by appointment, usually two to five texts per appointment.

Example: "LaurenBeez via Taddoo: Hi Alex, your appointment on Fri, Oct 16 at 2:00 PM is confirmed. Reply STOP to opt out."

Sender and cost

In the US and Canada, texts come from +1 888 896 9131 and start with "<artist name> via Taddoo". In other countries the sender is usually the artist's name. The service is free for you; message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts; you will get one final confirmation. Reply START to sign up again. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@taddoo.com. You can also withdraw your consent with the artist. In countries where the sender is the artist's name, replies are not possible; contact the artist or hello@taddoo.com instead.

Privacy

We use your phone number and your consent only for the texts about your appointment. We do not sell them, and we do not share mobile numbers or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Texts are delivered through Twilio. More in the privacy notice for customers.
