FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is the difference between the Taddoo app and Taddoo OS?

The app is your studio in your pocket: calendar, clients, booking link with deposit, Tap to Pay, receipts and digital consent on iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac. Taddoo OS is the level above and takes over the inbox: it reads every request in your Gmail, writes the draft in your tone, suggests slots and books. You can start with the app and add the OS later.

What does Taddoo cost?

The app starts at 16 CHF per month, solo with system is 125 CHF, studio and agency start at 350 CHF. Every account starts with 14 days free, you can switch between all plans at any time, and your data moves with you. The full overview with everything included is on the pricing page.

Does this work with my existing studio email?

Yep. One-click OAuth, your inbox stays exactly as it is. Mini-Flo reads along and sends from your account. We move nothing, we delete nothing, we do nothing shady with your inbox.

Can I use this with multiple artists?

Yes, that is the main use case. Our pilot studio runs on it daily with 12 artists. As an agency, each artist keeps their own inbox and templates; as a studio, all requests land in one shared inbox and get assigned with a click. Either way the studio admin sees everything in one interface.

What if the AI writes nonsense?

By default you see every draft before it goes out, and a second AI model checks it independently first. Auto-Send is something you switch on per stage, deliberately. You are still in charge. When you tweak something, mini-Flo remembers, and the next one sounds even more like you. Like a new intern, minus the lunch break.

What about data privacy and GDPR?

Your mails are encrypted in our database (EU region). We use them only to generate your own drafts, no training on your data, no sale to third parties. You get a Data Processing Agreement on onboarding.

How many languages are supported?

App and OS come in nine languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian. Drafts are written in the language of the incoming mail, if a customer writes Italian, the draft is in Italian.

How does a client book an appointment themselves?

As soon as duration and price for a request are set, you generate a personal booking link. The client sees a page with your branding and the open slots in the right timezone, picks one and confirms. The appointment lands straight in your calendar, either confirmed immediately or only after your approval. Lead time, booking window and how long the link stays valid are set per artist.

Can I collect deposits?

Yes. With your Stripe account connected, the client pays the deposit right inside the booking link, and the appointment only counts as booked once the payment went through. Without a connected Stripe account you record the deposit yourself as before, Taddoo keeps the amount on the appointment and reminds you about it.

How does the digital consent form work?

For an appointment you generate a link with a QR code. The client scans it, reads the form, fills in what is missing and signs on the device. Motif, body area, place, date and price are prefilled from the request and the appointment. You countersign at checkout, you can attach documentation photos straight from your phone, and everything ends up as one PDF on the appointment. The text is frozen when the form is created, so later template changes never touch existing forms.

Which devices does Taddoo run on?

The app is available for iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac, works offline and syncs by itself as soon as you are back online. Taddoo OS runs in the browser and right inside your Gmail, with nothing to install. Both share the same data, whichever device you are on.

What does the app cost?

16 CHF per month, the first 14 days free. You are only charged after the trial, cancel monthly. If you take payments through Taddoo (deposit in the booking link or Tap to Pay), a small fee per payment applies, which your client covers as a surcharge by default. All numbers are in the plan comparison below.

How does Tap to Pay work?

Your client holds their card or phone to your iPhone or Android phone, done. No card reader, no extra subscription. Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. The payment lands right on the appointment and in your bookkeeping. All it needs is a connected Stripe account.

Do I need a Stripe account?

Only if you want to take payments through Taddoo: the deposit in the booking link and Tap to Pay run through Stripe, connected in a few minutes. Calendar, clients, receipts, consent and reminders work without it. You then note the deposit yourself as before, Taddoo keeps it on the appointment.

Does the app sync with my Google or Apple Calendar?

Yes. You subscribe to your Taddoo calendar as a feed in Google or Apple, and every appointment, absence and change shows up there by itself. You book in Taddoo, you see it everywhere.

Does the app run on Android and Mac?

Yes: iPhone, iPad and Android from the stores, on the Mac via the App Store. The app works offline and syncs by itself as soon as you are back online. One account, the same data on every device.

And if I want Taddoo OS later?

Then you simply switch in your account. Everything from the app stays, plus the assistant in your Gmail that reads requests, writes drafts and books appointments. Clients, appointments and receipts come along, nothing needs to be set up again.

Ready for a calmer inbox?

The app alone, or the app plus the OS for your inbox. Switch anytime, your data comes with you.
