Common questions
How do I sell tattoo merch online?
With the merch page on your Taddoo page. You add products with photos, price and sizes plus a shipping profile, and the shop is live at taddoo.com/@yourname/shop. Clients pay online through your own Stripe account, the order lands in your app with a push, and you ship it yourself.
What does the merch page cost?
No surcharge and no extra monthly fee. The same payment fees as for vouchers and deposits apply: in the App plan a small Taddoo fee per order, which the client pays by default (you can change that), in App Pro only the Stripe fees.
How does shipping work?
Like on Etsy: in a shipping profile you set a price for the first item and one for each additional item, per country, for the EU or the rest of the world, plus the delivery time. The client picks their delivery country in the cart, and Stripe collects the address and phone number. You ship it yourself, with a tracking number if you like.
What happens when something sells out?
Every variant has its own stock. When it reaches 0, the shop shows it as sold out. While a client is paying, the items are reserved for them, so you never sell anything twice.
Does the shop also work on my own website?
Yes. Through the website API and the SDK, your own website shows the shop with cart and checkout in your own design. Orders land in the app just the same.
